Calmrate is a simple calculator that runs in your browser. We designed it to collect as little data as possible while still providing helpful insights.

What We Collect

Calmrate does not ask for your name, email address, or payment details. The calculator inputs you enter stay in your browser.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand overall usage trends. This includes basic event data such as when a user calculates a result or copies a summary.

Local Storage

Calmrate stores your most recent inputs in your browser's local storage so the form can be prefilled on your next visit. This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers.

You can clear this data at any time using the "Start fresh" button in the calculator.

Analytics

We use GA4 to track aggregate usage and improve the product. The events we track include:

Calculate event (when you compute a rate)
Copy result event (when you copy the summary)
CTA click event (if a call-to-action is present)

We do not attempt to identify individual users or associate analytics with personal identity.

Data Retention

Local storage data expires automatically after 60 days if you do not use the app. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings.

Your Choices

You can disable cookies or analytics tracking via your browser settings. If you do so, some non-essential functionality may be limited.
